April Favourites 2017

It's that time of the month again where I share with you all the products I've been loving throughout April, and can I just say where has this month gone?! It literally seems two minutes ago that we were welcoming in the new year and now were almost halfway through!

Anyways this post is also a collab with the lovely Daisy from www.dcandpp.wordpress.com so make sure you go and check out her post to see what she's been loving throughout April, and leave her a nice comment!

Mario Badescu Acne Facial Cleanser // £14.00
My first favourite of the month is the Mario Badescu Acne Facial Cleanser, let me just start by saying that this product is amazing! I've been using this since the beginning of April and the difference in my skin is amazing! Even though this product is a little bit on the pricier side, it's so worth it because it honestly works and my skin feels so refreshed after using it!

Soap & Glory Scrub Em' & Leave Em' Body Scrub // £8.00
Next up is the Scrub Em' & Leave Em' Body Scrub from Soap & Glory, I've only recently started using this again but it's so good for keeping my body nice and soft and also for scrubbing off my fake tan without irritating my skin! The scent of this product is so nice too and it just reminds me of Summer which always makes me happy!

MAC Eyeshadow in Expensive Pink // £13.50
Moving onto makeup favourites, first up is this gorgeous MAC eyeshadow in the shade Expensive Pink, this is such a pretty rose gold shade and it looks gorgeous blended into the crease. The formula is really nice and the shadow itself is so pigmented!

MAC Lip Liner in Hover // £13.00
My final favourite of the month is one of MAC's lip liners in the shade Hover, this liner is the perfect shade match for Velvet Teddy but it's also really nice to wear on its own. The pigmentation is amazing and even though the liner is matte it's really nice and creamy, so doesn't dry out my lips!

So those are all my April Favourites, I would defitnley recommend all of the products I've talked about today and don't forget to check out Daisy's post and leave her a nice comment as I'm sure hers is amazing!!

Accesories To Spice Up Your Outfit

Have you ever put on an outfit and looked at yourself in the mirror and thought 'this could do with something a lil' extra'? Well don't worry I've got you covered from now as today I'm going to be sharing with you a few accessories that you can add to your outfit to make it look that little bit better!!

Watches
As obvious as this may sound adding a watch to any outfit defintley has two benefits. One: You'll always know what time it is and two: they look super cute in outfit pics! As you all probably know by now, one of my favourite colours is rose gold, so anything that is rose gold and can work with my outfit you bet I'm going to wear it!

Bracelets
Just like watches, bracelets can look super cute with an outfit, even if you just wear one or five they always looks super cute!! (Pictured: Topshop Rose Gold Bracelet)

Pins
Something that has become very popular recently is wearing pins, and trust me I'm obsessed! The ones I have in the picture were from Primark and were £3! They look super cute pinned onto a denim jacket or dungarees and add a little colour to a plain outfit.

Chokers
I think it's no surprise that I had to include chokers in this post because they are 100% my one true love! Primark are the best for doing cute and different chokers and that's where most of mine are from. My favourites defintley have to be the leather, velvet or lace ones!!

Rings
Again very similar to the watches and bracelets, rings can really add something to an outfit especially if there a little more out there. I'm not the type of person to wear garish rings, I much prefer the daintier ones and Pandora have an amazing collection if you want to check it out!!

Earrings
Finally the last item are earrings, recently I've really been getting into wearing little hoops and I'm obsessed with them. Their just a little bit different to the normal earring that I normally go for and I think they look really nice with a ponytail because you can really see how pretty they are.

So that's the end of this post, I hope you all enjoyed and hopefully I've helped you find some new accessories that you can add to your outfit to spice it up a little!!

Spring Inspired Eye Makeup

With Spring in full swing now I've kind of mastered my everyday spring makeup look, and recently I've really been getting into wearing eyeshadow a lot more. Today I thought I'd share with you the eye look that I have been wearing a lot recently, just in case your in need of a lil' inspiration!!

NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil in Milk //
Starting off with a kind of with a 'primer'. Recently I've really been into using the NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil in Milk to prep my eyelids before I apply the eyeshadow. I've found that this really makes the eyeshadows pop and the shadows literally stick to the base which means that they don't budge all day.

I Heart Makeup Death By Chocolate Bar Palette //
Next up I use the very first shade from this palette which is quite a near match to my skin tone so it gets rid of any veins that may be visible and also helps provide a nice neutral base which help the other shades pop.

MAC Eyeshadow in Expensive Pink //
Then I apply Expensive Pink into my crease and blend it down until it blends perfectly with the shade I've already applied. I try to make this as neat as possible because I don't want there to be any harsh edges or clear lines between the two shades.

Barry M Dazzle Dust in 105 //
Finally I use one of my all item favourite products at the moment which is the Barry M Dazzle Dust in 105. This is such a gorgeous shimmery pink and I apply this from my inner corner to the centre of my eyelid to add a little bit of sparkle to the whole look!!

So that's my current everyday Spring inspired eye look, I hope you all enjoyed and maybe this gave you some inspiration to try out a spring inspired eye look yourself!!

How Much Does My Face Cost?

I have been wanting to do one of these posts for the longest time because I love reading them and I find it so interesting to see how much the makeup I wear each day actually costs. So therefore I'm here today to total up the cost of my everyday current makeup. There's defintley a mixture of high-end and drugstore products that I wear but in all fairness I much prefer high-end (even if it is expensive!) simply because the quality of the product is usually much better.

Benefit That Gal Primer (Mini) // £9.00
MAC Studio Fix Fluid Foundation // £23.50
Rimmel Stay Matte Powder // £3.99
Sleek Contour Kit // £6.99
Benefit Hoola Bronzer (Mini) // £9.00
I Heart Makeup Blushing Hearts Blush // £4.99
MUA Undress Your Skin Shimmer Highlight // £3.00
NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil in Milk // £5.00
I Heart Makeup Death By Chocolate Palette // £7.99
MAC Eyeshadow in Expensive Pink // £13.50
Urban Decay All Night Setting Spray (Mini) // £10.00
Benefit Roller Lash Mascara // £20.50
Benefit Bad Gal Lash (Mini) // £9.00
MAC Lipstick in Lovelorn // £16.50
Total: £142.96

Wow! I actually can't believe that the makeup I wear everyday is worth over £140!! It's actually kind of ridiculous that my face is worth £142.96, however I do love makeup so I guess it's all worth it! ;) I loved doing this post, and maybe I could make this a seasonal post as my makeup does change throughout the seasons!

My Favourite Instagrams

I've been seeing a lot of these posts recently, and it inspired me to do my own take on it. I love Instagram and it's defintley one of my favourite social medias. Even though I try my best at keeping a theme somehow or other it just never seems to look as good as other instagrammers.

Today I thought I'd share with you some of my favourite Instagram accounts with swoon worthy feeds to get the inspo flowing a little bit if you're wanting to start a theme on your own insta!!

@LifeAsTillyRose
Oh my goodness, Tilly's theme is my actual goals!! It looks so effortless and yet so put together! The quality of Tilly's photos are amazing and every one of them flows together amazingly!! As Tilly is a blogger she shares her post announcements through her photos and every single time they always make me want to read the actual post because seeing that one lil' hint of what the post is about makes me so excited to read on!!

@naomivictorias
Next up is Naomi, her feed is gorgeous and the way she incorporates different colours into it makes me so jealous of her photography skills!! Also Naomi's flat lays are to die for! They always look like they've been unintentionally done but still look so put together!! Serious goals!!

@franalibi
Where to start with Fran's feed? It's absolutely gorgeous!! Fran's photography skills are amazing and I'm seriously digging her current feed!! I'm hoping one day to have a feed just as nice as Fran's but it's going to take a lot of living up to as she is literally the queen of Insta!!

@utterlylara
Moving onto Lara's feed, I literally don't have any words apart from: gorgeous and complete and utter goals!! Lara's feed has quite a minimalistic vibe to it and can I just say her room is goals!! (Am I annoying you yet with the amount of times I'm saying 'goals'?) Lara defintley deserves all the followers she has and again I hope one day to have a feed like hers!!

@uhmchels
My final fave Instagram feed is Chelsea's, her feed is full of gorgeous outfit pics that give me serious fashion inspo!! I'm obsessed with how minimisltic her feed is and how effortless it all looks. All the goals in my opinion!!

And there you have it, my top 5 favourite Instagram feeds, quick lil' apology for the amount of times I said goals or gorgeous I just can't help it and there's literally no other way to describe these gorgeous feeds!! I hope I gave you some new insta's to follow and leave your Instagram down below and I'll be sure to follow!!

Updated Skincare Routine Spring 2017

The last time I shared with you a Skincare Routine, was back in Blogmas which is kind of a long time ago. Recently I have acquired some new skincare items that have been working wonders for my skin, so today I thought that I would share them with you so that you can get your hands on them too!!

Garnier Micellar Cleansing Gel Wash // £4.00
The first thing I'll do for my skincare routine is cleanse my face, for this I have recently been using the new Garnier Micellar Cleansing Gel Wash (which is amazing!!) I use this to take my makeup off at night and it honestly takes me about 2 minutes. Plus my skin feels super refreshed after using this which is great!!

Mario Badescu Acne Facial Cleanser // £14.00
Next up I use the Mario Badescu Acne Facial Cleanser , and yes I know that I'm using two cleansers in a row!! Anyways this product is amazing and just like the Garnier one it leaves my skin feeling super refreshed. I've only been using this for around a week but my skin is already looking better!!

Mario Badescu Facial Spray // £7.00
The next item I use is the Mario Badescu Facial Spray, which is amazing for keeping my skin moisturized. This also smells amazing as it's got aloe, herbs and rosewater in and again like I've said 2 other times my skin feels so refreshed afterwards!!

Mario Badescu Drying Lotion // £16.00
Finally I finish of my skincare routine with the drying lotion which is used for drying out any blemishes. This is so good and even though I've only been using it for just over a week my blemishes have already mostly gone!! It does have a very strong smell to it but you do get used to it eventually!!

So that's my skincare routine for the spring, I hope you all enjoyed and I would 100% recommend all of these products if you're looking for some new skincare items!!

March Favourites

Hi, it's me again. I've only been gone a week but it feels so much longer!! The stress of school has officially taken over but now that I've finished for Easter I have so much more time to put into my blog!! Today I thought I'd share with you some of the things that I've been loving in March, so I hope you enjoy!!

Pink & Rose Gold Converse // £62.99
My first favourite of the month are my Converse that I received for my birthday last year. Luckily here in Britain we have been blessed with quite a few glorious days through March and ive been able to step out of the house in my converse and not be cold. They are so comfy and add a little bit of colour to plain outfits and their rose gold, so what's not to love?

H&M Dungarees // £19.99
Whoops, yet again I'm featuring these dungarees on the blog and you're all probably so bored of seeing them now but I'm just obsessed with them!! Again because of the lovely weather I've been able to wear these a lot and that has made me extremely happy because it means that summer is only a few months away!! Also quick tip, if you're quite a small person like me buy your dungarees in H&M from the kids section because their about £20 cheaper!!

Barry M Molten Metal Nail Polish in Copper Mine // £3.99
Moving onto a beauty favourite, I've been obsessed with how gorgeous this copper nail polish is. Barry M are defintley the nail polish queens and I can always trust them to have a shade that I'm looking for. Their Molten Metal nail polishes are amazing and when there's a copper nail polish you can bet it's gone straight in my basket! ;)

Everything, Everything by Nicola Yoon // £7.99
Finally my last favourite is a book. When the Everything, Everything movie trailer was released I knew straight away that I wanted to both read the book and see the film when it comes out. I haven't finished the boom yet but from what I have read I'm obsessed with it and it's defintley one of those books that once you start reading you can't put it down!!

So those were my March Favourites, I hope you all enjoyed this post and I defintley recommend all of these items as they are amazing and made my March that lil' bit better!! (cringe!)
