Beauty | My Top 5 Autumn Lipsticks

Autumn is definitely one of my favourite times of the year, especially when it comes to lips. Today I thought I would share with you my top 5 Autumn lip colours and also maybe give you guys some ideas for lipsticks if you're struggling to find a good one for Autumn time!! :)

MAC Lip Liner in Hover: £12.50
I absolutely love lip liners for Autumn especially when I'm wearing a darker or bolder lip because I feel like spending those extra few minutes lining your lips really does make the difference to your makeup look. However I also like to use just lip liner and one of my favourite colours to do this with is MAC's Hover. This is a gorgeous dark brown shade (you could say it's the perfect match to Velvet Teddy) I really like wearing Hover with a nice neutral eye look, because they goes perfectly together and create a gorgeous Autumnal  makeup look.

MAC Matte Lipstick in Velvet Teddy: £15.50
Next up is another MAC product. Velvet Teddy is quite possibly my all time favourite Autumnal lipstick. Its a really pretty dark brown (like I said earlier its very similar to Hover) I also think the lipstick itself has some orange undertones to it which I really like. Again I would wear this lipstick with a neutral eye look and probably a little bit of eyeliner. Another thing I like about this lipstick is that it is matte, but is not drying for me personally.

MUA Sweet Sheen Lip Balm in Cherry Bomb: £2.50
Even though I do like my high end lipsticks, sometimes it just doesn't beat drugstore lippies. Earlier in the year I picked up one of the new MUA Sweet Sheens in the shade Cherry Bomb because I thought it would be perfect for Autumn time. I guess you could say the Sweet Sheens are very similar to Maybelline's Baby Lips however personally I think they are a lot more pigmented but not as moisturising . Anyways going back onto the lip product itself the colour is a gorgeous Cherry, but its not too bright so can be worn as an everyday colour or built up for a night look.

Topshop Lipstick in Naturist: £8.00
This lipstick was actually my first makeup product from Topshop and I can tell you that I will definitely be buying more from the Topshop Makeup Range because all the colours are insanely pigmented. The one I have is in the shade Naturist, its a gorgeous nude colour with some slight purple undertones. Unlike my two MAC lip products I would definitely pair this lipstick with a dramatic smokey eye because I feel like it would complement the eye look really well!!

Rimmel Exaggerate Lip Liner in Eastend Snob: £3.99
My final lip product is another from the Drugstore and I cannot even explain how much I have been wanting this liner in the shade Eastend Snob. I've been on the lookout for that perfect pinky nude colour for a while and I've finally found it with this liner. Its a super pretty dark pinky nude perfect for Autumn time. Again like the Topshop Lipstick I would definitely pair it with a really pretty smokey eye.

So those are my Top 5 Autumn Lipsticks, and I'll definitely be wearing these throughout the Autumn time. I hope that if you were struggling to find that perfect Autumnal lip colour I have sort of in a way helped you by sharing with you some of my fave and if not I hope you enjoyed this post because I definitely enjoyed writing it!!! :)

Beauty | Autumn Essenstials // Collab With GracexKate

It's the first official day of Autumn today!! Which means it's only right to share with you my Autumn Essentials. This is also a collab GracexKate.BlogSpot.co.uk so make sure you check out her post afterwards.

So throughout the Autumn time, I absolutely love dark nudes especially MAC's Velvet Teddy and Soap and Glory Sexy Mother Pucker in Charm Offense. Another thing that I love about Autumn is the new nail polish colours. I adore dark colours like berry, maroon and even black. However I still like to have a fun side so colours like orange and mustard are definitely at the top of my list. I also love wearing eyeshadow throughout the Autumn and my g to palette is definitely my Naked 2, I actually have a post up about an eye look you can try on my blog so you can read that if you'd like to know the colours I use.

For clothes it obviously has to be the traditional jumpers. I honestly feel like Autumn isn't Autumn without jumpers!! Also boots are one of my favourite things for this season, I have a pair from Pull&Bear and they are so nice. Also they look super cute and girly with frilly socks as well!! Finally my last clothing essential is definitely a tartan scarf , I have two, one in the traditional red colours and also one from River Island which is a pale blue, nude and pink. I just feel like these scarfs can go with any outfit and make you feel super cosy!!

So those were my Autumn Essentials, don't forget to check out Grace's blog and read all about her Autumn Essentials. Also I have a bunch of Halloween posts planned for the next couple of weeks so you can definitely look forward to that!!

Beauty | Autumn Eye Makeup Look Using Naked 2

Since Autumn is a mere few days away (23rd of September, to be exact!!) I thought today I'd share with you my very first tutorial. So I'm obsessed with my Naked 2 palette and recently I have been wearing this look a lot and I've really been loving it. It's a perfect nude look for the Autumn time.

Primer
Because the base colour of this look is quite a light shade, I always like to prime my eyes using my MAC Mineralized concealer, I find that using a concealer instead of a proper eye primer helps to keep this look on longer and also helps to make the pigmentation of the colours better. Plus it makes your eyelids all one colour. :)

Lid
So the first colour that I use is Bootycall, this is a gorgeous colour and, if you have blue eyes really makes them pop. So all I do is apply this to my crease using my Real Techniques Domed Shadow Brush. I pat on the product rather than swiping because I feel like it is more pigmented this way.

Crease
Then I take the colour Tease and work this into my crease. I like to use this colour because it makes the look a little bit more smokey whilst still keeping it natural. I use the brush that came with the Naked 2 palette for this colour. I use the end with the more sharper brush because that's a small brush so really gets precision in the crease. Afterwards I take the other side of the brush which is super fluffy and blend the two colours together.

So that was my Autumn Eye Makeup Look, I really hope you enjoyed this post and I'm sorry if its a bit short but I promise you I have some super exciting posts coming up very soon, which I have been working super hard on!!!

Beauty | Back To School Makeup Routine 2015 // CollabWithMeetMeInMelford

Now I'm guessing that most of you have gone back to school by now, I have (unfortunately) so I thought today I'd share with you my back to school makeup look. This is also a collab with the amazing Lily from MeetMeInMelford, her blog is amazing and one of my all time favourites. So make sure you check out her post after this one.

Baby Skin Instant Fatigue Blur in Cool Rose: £7.99
So the first thing that I apply is my Baby Skin in Cool Rose, this smooth's out my face and also conceals any redness. Like the title suggests it also makes my skin look 10x more awake than before.

MAC Mineralized Concealer in NW10: £17.50
Next up I apply my concealer, I don't wear foundation for school because I try to go with quite a natural look with my makeup. I only apply the concealer under my eyes to brighten my under eye circles. I don't apply it to my blemishes because I don't want it to look like I have any makeup on and if I covered my blemishes you would be able to tell I had makeup on. I apply my concealer with the Real Techniques Concealer Brush.

Rimmel Stay Matte Powder in Transparent: £3.99
Then I apply my powder. I use my Real Techniques Setting Brush to set my concealer and then my Real Techniques Powder Brush to keep the rest of my face matte throughout the day.

I Heart Makeup Triple Baked Blush in Candy Queen of Hearts: £5.99
For blush I like to go quite natural with just a little bit of a natural pink flush. I do this because I don't want to make myself look like I've been on a long run!! :) To apply the blush I just use my Real Techniques Blush Brush.

Benefit Roller Lash: £19.50
Afterwards I move onto mascara and for this I use my all time favourite Roller Lash. This makes my eyelashes so long and also makes me look more awake, its also not clumpy so gives my lashes that natural long length effect.

Lovable Luxuries Brow Spoolie: (I'm not sure on the price as this product came in a set)
I don't doing anything that dramatic with my brows I just brush them into shape and shape out my brow arch.

Sleek Brow Setting Gel in Clear: £4.99
Then I set the shape of my brow with the Sleek Brow Setting Gel in Clear. Without this step I tend to notice that my brows move out of shape throughout the day.

Maybelline Baby Lips in Melon Mania: £2.99
To finish of the look I use the Maybelline Baby Lips in Melon Mania. I like this because its a super natural colour and also keeps my lips moisturized and hydrated throughout the day.

So that was my Back To School Makeup Routine. I hope you enjoyed and also don't forget to check out Lily's post on her blog.

Lifestyle | What's In My School Bag 2015 // Collab with PastelBlastsBeauty & PinkSmarties

One great thing about Back To School (besides stationary supply shopping) is getting a new bag. I absolutely love when the time comes for me to get a new bag because I will probably have got bored of my old one by now. Since it's the new school year, I obviously had to get a new bag, which also lent itself to a blogposts!! So today I'm going to be sharing with you a What's In My School Bag for 2015. This is also a collab with 3 lovely bloggers: PastelBlastsBeauty, and PinkSmarties.

Michael Kors Tan Bag
Firstly my bag is from Michael Kors and it's a gorgeous tan/brown colour. It is super big on the inside and has 3 different pockets of space for me to put things in. I keep my PE Kit in one side and then all the rest of my stuff in the other two pockets. I like how the pockets are big because, it keeps my stuff nice and organized.

School Planner
So the first thing that I have in my bag is my planner. Now my school supply's our planners so we don't have to buy one. However I do like to keep my own in so I can keep track a bit easier with all the things I have to do.

Reading Book
Next up is a reading book. Now my school has a rule that you have to have a reading book with you at all times or it's a detention!! I keep one in from home that I know I enjoy reading so whenever we have to read, I can enjoy myself!!

Beauty Bag
I actually already have a post up with all the things that I keep in my beauty bag, so if you're interested you can go and read that and find out about all the things I keep that are beauty related in my bag.

Pencil Case
Obviously everyone has to have a pencil case, with them in their school bag. All I keep in mine are: spare pencils/pens, gluestick, Tipex, calculator and highlighters. It's always good to keep a pencil case in your bag because that way you can take extra things without having to have them in your Blazer pocket.

PE Kit
I only need my PE kit two days a week, so I don't always have it with me but when I do I have to have: PE top and shorts and Trainers/Football Boots.

Folders
One of the things that is in my bag permantely is my folder. I always keep it in my bag so that my homework or letters don't get all crumpled up and ruined. It also helps me to stay organized because I know where everything is.

So that's what I keep in my School Bag. I hope you enjoyed this post and also I hope it may have helped you with ways to keep yourself (and your bag) organized.

Beauty | What's In My Back To School Beauty Bag

Now most of you, have probably already gone back to School, so I thought today I would share with you what I keep in my School beauty bag. This is also a collab with the wonderful TutusandTriumphs, so make sure you check out her post and her amazing blog.

Soap and Glory Hand Maid Hand Sanitizer: £2.99
The first thing that I like to keep in my beauty bag is my hand sanitizer, I always have to have this with me because there are always germs going around and you never know who might have sneezed on the stair rail (EWWW) This helps to keep you nice and clean, plus this sanitizer smells amazing!!

Victoria Secret Spray in Pure Seduction: (This Product Came In A Set)
Next up I like to keep my absolute fave spray from VS. I like this one as well because its a mini size, so won't take up much room in my bag. Also this is really good for top ups throughout the day.

Deodrant: £1.99
I then obviously keep deodorant in my bag for when I have PE and also whenever I start to feel a bit sweaty. Again you also never know who might need some!!

Co-lab Dry Shampoo in Floral: £1.99
So this may seem a little weird but I also like to keep a Dry Shampoo for after PE and also if my hair starts to look a bit greasy I can apply this. One thing I like about this is that you don't have to rub any white residue in which saves a lot more time!!!

Maybelline Baby Lips in Melon Mania: £2.99
Up next is my fave Baby Lips, I apply this in the morning and just keep it in my bag for top ups throughout the day. Also its a gorgeous natural colour and is a perfect if you're not feeling a full on lip colour.

Rimmel Stay Matte Powder in Transparent: £2.99
Another makeup product  I keep in my bag is my holy grail powder, again I apply this in the morning and us it for top up throughout the day. Especially considering my T-Zone and Chin get pretty oily, I need this product at all times!!!

MAC Mineralized Concealer in NW15: £17.50
The final thing that I keep in my bag is my ultimate fave concealer. I use this to highlight my under eye circles. I have noticed that this slips off my face throughout the day so I always need it with me.

So those were all the things that I keep in my School Beauty Bag. I hope you enjoyed and don't forget to check out the wonderful TutusandTriumphs.

Back To School Q&A

So Q&A's are one of my favourite types of blogposts to read, because I feel like you get to know people more by asking them questions. Today I thought I would do my own Q&A based on Back To School, I'd quickly like to thank everyone who gave me questions, they are all greatly appreciated.

@MeetMeInMelford
Q:What time do you get up and go to bed on a school night?
A: I usually go to bed at around 9 o'clock and wake up at around 7:20.

@ThriftyVintageFashion
Q: What are your favourite and least favourite lessons?
A: My favourite lessons are: Drama, French and Art. My least favourite are: Maths, Geography and Ethics.

@kate.livvy
Q: What are your school bag essentials?
A: My school bag essentials are: Phone, Concealer and Powder, Hairbrush, Deodorant, Body Spray and Batiste Dry Shampoo.

@tutusandtriumph
Q: How do you cope with being in a new class?
A: Usually when you move up to the next year, you stay with a lot of people from your class, so you don't really go into a completely new class with people you don't know. I just do everything I need to do in that class and try talking to people you don't know, that way you can make new friends really easily.

@floralbeautyyyxo
Q: What makeup product can you not live without for going back to school?
A: The makeup product I cant live without is mascara, because it just makes me look super wide awake.

@MeetMeInMelford
Q: Do people at school know about your fabulous blog?
A: No, nobody knows about my blog and I don't plan on telling anybody because I just want to be able to write and have people who don't know me read it, that way I wont dread going to school knowing people have read what I have written and make fun of me for it. :)

So those were all the questions I received, once again thankyou to everyone who gave me a question also make sure you check out their Instagram's as well.

Photography | Day Out In Scarborough

Yesterday my family decided to take a trip out to Scarborough. I've only ever been to Scarborough once before, so I was super excited. Anyways I took a few pictures so as a mid-week post I thought I'd share them with you.

For Dinner We ate at the world famous Harry Ramsdans Fish and Chip Resturant, and
it was so good!!!

After dinner we decided to take a trip round the harbour on one of the many open top buses,
the views were amazing and it was super fun as well!!

Once we get off the bus,we walked round to Peasholme Park, it was really pretty and there were some fairy lights too!!

There was some amazing wooden creatures that a talented artist
had created. This squirrel looked really cute!

There was also an amazingly detailed Owl.

At Peasholme they had a Naval Warfare display going on so we went
and sat down to watch the display. (I thought this Waterfall looked really
cool!)

So those were a few photos from my trip to Scarborough, I hope you enjoyed
this post, I may do more like this in the near future!! Also I will have a haul up
soon, showing you some of the things I bought from Scarborough.

Room Decor | Cute Room Decor Ideas

I don't know about you, but cute room décor seriously boosts my mood (and also makes me broke!!) Anyways today I thought I'd share with you some of my favourite décor pieces in my room, and hopefully inspire you guys if you're looking for some new things to spice up your room.

Jewellery Bowl

So my first décor piece is a jewellery bowl. This is super simple but looks cute at the same time. I just keep some of my fave and most used jewellery in a bowl and that way it's super easy to reach but also makes a really nice décor piece.

Perfume Plate

This décor piece is one of my favourite things. Basically I used my Skurar plate from IKEA, and put some of my absolute favourite perfumes on it and it looks really nice and makes my bookshelf top look a bit more organised. :)

Ring Plate
I didn't really know what this décor piece was called, so I just came up with this name. I got my plate from a super cute vintage store named Peppermint Pig. This helps me to keep all my rings in one place because before I had this my rings were everywhere, and I mean EVERYWHERE!! However now I have my Ring Plate it keeps them all together and looks really cute at the same time.

I hope you enjoyed today's post and I also hope that it may have helped you to become a bit more organised!!

Beauty | Top 5 Favourite Summer Beauty Products

So as Summer is drawing to a close :(, I thought that for today's post I would talk you through my Top 5 Favourite Summer Beauty Products.

MAC Lipstick In Angel: £15.50
I have been absolutely loving this lipstick, its a gorgeous pink colour and looks really nice with a natural makeup look. It's also not that bright so makes it a really nice wearable everyday colour. Even though MAC lippies are expensive they are definitely worth the price because the quality and pigmentation is amazing!!

Benefit's Roller Lash: £19.50
Next up is one of the most raved about mascaras. At first I didn't really understand why there was such a hype on a mascara, but after trying it I can tell you it was definitely worth the hype. This is like no other mascara I've tried because it makes your lashes longer and also curls them which is an added bonus.

Maybelline Baby Lips Dr Rescue In Too Cool: £3.49
The next thing I want to talk about is one of the new Baby Lips. This one is from the Dr Rescue range, which I believe is medicated. I took this on holiday with me when I went abroad because it has SPF15 in it and it really protected my lips from the sun. It's also really good at hydrating and moisturizing my lips.

I Heart Makeup Triple Baked Blush in Candy Queen Of Hearts: £4.99
Up next is a product that I have only started using pretty recently an I have fallen in love with it. I believe Candy Queen Of Hearts is the lightest shade they do, it's perfect for people with paler skin (like me) because it doesn't make you look like you've been on a really long sweaty run. Also it's a dupe for the Two Faced Sweetheart Blushes and it's less than a 1/4 of the price!!

Benefit's High Brow in Pink Linen: £16.50
My final favourite is Benefit's High Brow, this is a brow lifting pencil and it works so well. I like to apply this when I do my brows to give them a bit of a lift and also to shape my brow arch. There are two shades of this product one in Pink Linen (I have this one) is for those people with paler skin and there's another called Golden Glow, I believe? This one is for people with darker skin.

I hope you enjoyed reading today's post, I certainly enjoyed writing it!!
