Coffee Table Books
Coffee Table books have become very popular over the last few years, with bloggers and youtubers alike. I'm no exception to this trend as I have quite the collection myself! In case you're not familiar with what a 'coffee table' book is, it's basically a book for décor but that can also be read every now and again.
There are so many different coffee table books to choose from, so to make it easier for you all today I'm going to be sharing with you my top 3. I must say I haven't read any of these 3 entirely, but that's the beauty of a coffee table book you can just dip in and out of them as you please!
#GirlBoss by Sophia Amoruso
Where to start with this book? I'm pretty sure you've heard about this book at least once as it's quite popular in the blogging and YouTube community. #GirlBoss is a biography and also has a few business tips in and amongst. Sophia Amoruso is the founder of Nasty Gal and the book takes you through her life, from when she began as a shoplifter to founding and being the CEO of a multimillion dollar company.
I've found #GirlBoss to be really inspiring and it never gets boring as there's always a mixture of real talk and humour throughout the chapters. Also #GirlBoss has recently been released on Netflix and even though I haven't had the chance to watch it yet, I can't wait to see if it's as good the book!
The Luxe Life by Fleur De Force
Ok can we just talk about how gorgeous the cover and spine of this book is? The Luxe Life is described as the older sister to Fleur's first book The Glam Guide, which can I add is such a gorgeous book too! Anyways the illustrations in this book are gorgeous and there are so many chapters inside, my favourite being the one centred around the home as there are some super cool DIYS in there!!
Beauty by Lauren Conrad
My final favourite coffee table book is Beauty by Lauren Conrad. Similar to #GirlBoss this book starts off with a little biographical chapter on Lauren's life and how she got started with makeup and her different makeup phases. There's also lots of chapters filled with beauty tips and images to show you how it's done. I love this book and I'll definitely be picking up Style by Lauren Conrad as I've heard some pretty good things about it!!
So those are my top 3 coffee table books, I hope you all enjoyed this post and I've definitely got a list of some more books that I'd like to pick up in the future!
